A doffed hat to Julian West of Dublin for his letter to The Irish Daily Mail today, Monday 22nd September. With reference to the story about the twelve-year-old Limerick girl alleged to have stolen a van and rammed a Garda car following a high-speed chase through the city centre last week, Mr West wrote:
“It’s not surprising that the 12-year-old ran a red light in a van. She was probably trying not to be distinguished from other van drivers. I expect she gave herself away by not stopping in the middle of the road to make deliveries.”
Thanks for making me giggle on my weary Monday morning. *doffs beret*
ROFLMAO! That’s brilliant!
Not to mention she was uninsured at the time. Women drivers, eh?
